As we approached retirement age, we became more and more aware of our need for proper retirement preparation. What we really became aware of is that we were not prepared.  The more we looked at the situation, the more we realized we were not alone.  We also realized that age really has nothing to do with it, and we should have been thinking about this a long time ago. Leaving the world of "employment" is a great idea, but as for quality of life, the amount of money we have at our disposal is the primary determining factor as to when that can happen. 

 

Looking back on our family, and the families of many people we know, we continue to see people who struggle with having enough money to adequately meet their needs in their later years. Sadly, we had to face the fact that there was little we could do for some of those who were already living at the mercy of limited government provision. There was lot of unnecessary burden falling on family members. The primary reason for this, was that they were locked into the way they were taught to think all of their lives. We became determined that as for us, we would do what we "could do" not to find ourselves in that same situation.  We also wanted to help as many people as we could to avoid it as well.

We had to change our thinking about some things! We want to encourage you to do the same. The sooner the better. We should all be better prepared to live well for the entirety of our lives.

 

It is time to rethink, refocus and get lasting results.
