My Story

I am Paula Maupin...a follower of Jesus, a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a friend and a fixer.

My husband, Bobby and I have a combined total of 5 sons, 4 daughter in loves, 18 grandchildren, a grandson-in-love and a multitude of friends from Canada to Mexico.  We have been blessed to know  people that we never dreamed we would know, much less call friends. We are so thankful.

I have worked for most of my life in a variety of fields...anywhere from medical, private music studio, hospitality, and media. For the past 17 years before "retirement" I worked in Nashville, TN at Fox 17 TV.  I was the go-to person for most everything there.  A lot of the employees brought things to me with the hopes I could "fix the problem." You might say I've been "A Fixer" for years.

I am taking the role of "The Fixer" to a whole other level in retirement as I help others rethink settling for a fixed income. I want them to realize that they either take control of their fixed income or it controls them...it's that simple! I personally do not want that for anyone!

My Mission

When I retired from the media industry, I knew that living on a fixed income, was just not going to cut it. I have people I want to see and places I want to go. Bobby and I were blessed to be able to sell our home in Tennessee and purchase our home in Missouri with cash, pay off our car loan and credit cards.

Being out of debt in retirement was so important to us and we wanted to be able to help others do the same. This means that there has to be a rethinking process, Things can't just be business as usual."

If you listen to the news, I know you have been hearing that a vast number of people are living "paycheck to paycheck!" That is even more true for those that are retired and trying their best to live on a "fixed income". This means that many are living only on what they get from the government in the form of Social Security. Some are wanting to retire, but still have that mortgage hanging over their head. There are others that are going the route of credit cards and are finding the interest is eating them alive.

Fixing your fixed income doesn't have to be a burden. It can be as simple as developing real lifetime connections!  Let's connect and accomplish this together.
